The AMD Ryzen Threadripper 9970X is a 32-core, 64-thread processor for high-end desktop workstations on the sTR5 socket. It suits creators, engineers and developers whose rendering, simulation and compile jobs scale across many cores, while still offering high clock speeds for lighter tasks.

Boost clocks reach up to 5.4GHz, with 128MB of L3 cache and 32MB of L2 cache. The processor supports quad-channel DDR5 RDIMM memory up to 6400 MT/s and PCIe 5.0, giving room for large memory configurations, fast NVMe storage and multiple graphics or accelerator cards. This is the tray version, supplied as the processor only.
