The ARCTIC P8 PWM PST CO is an 80 mm case fan for PC builders who need to add airflow in a compact space. Its pressure-focused design also makes it suited to heatsinks, radiators and closely meshed case grilles.

It combines PWM speed control with ARCTIC’s PWM Sharing Technology (PST), so its speed can be synchronised with other compatible fans. The 200–3000 rpm range allows slower operation when less cooling is needed and higher airflow when the system is under load. A dual ball bearing is designed for continuous 24/7 operation, while the fan can be mounted to push warm air out or pull cool air in.

Key features

• Pressure-optimised airflow helps maintain cooling where air resistance is higher.
• PWM speed control adjusts the fan across a wide operating range.
• PST lets compatible fans share a motherboard fan header for synchronised control.
• Dual ball bearing supports continuous operation.
• The motor is designed to reduce vibration and operating noise.
• Two-way installation supports either intake or exhaust airflow.
• Designed for use on heatsinks, radiators and restricted case vents.

Compatibility

This is a standard 80 × 80 × 25 mm fan with a 4-pin PWM connector and a 4-pin PST socket. Connect it to a compatible motherboard fan header; check your case or cooler has an 80 mm mounting position and enough clearance. Good to know: PST shares speed control, but the motherboard header’s current limit still applies; ARCTIC recommends limiting one header to five fans.

In the box

• ARCTIC P8 PWM PST CO
