The ARCTIC P8 Slim PWM PST is an 80 mm case fan for compact PCs, small form factor builds and systems where a standard thickness fan will not fit. Its 15 mm profile makes it suitable for HTPCs and single-board computer projects as well as smaller PC cases.

PWM control adjusts the fan speed from 300 to 3000 rpm, and the fan can stop when the PWM signal falls below 5%. ARCTIC’s PST cable lets you synchronise its speed with other compatible fans by connecting them in series. The fan is designed for focused airflow and high static pressure, helping move air through restricted spaces.

Compatibility

Connect the fan to a motherboard fan header that supports PWM for speed control. A 3-pin socket accepts the fan’s 4-pin connector, but PWM control will not be available. Check that your case or project has room for an 80 × 80 × 15 mm fan and supports the required mounting pattern. Good to know: a compatible motherboard header is needed for PWM control; the 3-pin connection powers the fan but does not provide PWM speed control.
