The ARCTIC S12038-4K is a high-pressure 120 mm server fan for system builders and IT teams cooling server cases, workstations or industrial equipment. It suits replacement or upgrade jobs where airflow through dense enclosures, heatsinks or radiators matters.

PWM or voltage regulation lets you adjust the fan across a 600–4000 rpm range to suit the cooling load. It delivers up to 180 m³/h airflow and 11.45 mmH₂O static pressure. An additional impeller in the hub actively cools the motor, while the dual ball bearing and brass housing are designed for reliable operation in hot or dusty environments. The 300 mm cable gives some flexibility when routing to a fan header.

Compatibility

The fan uses a standard 4-pin fan connector and works with 2-pin or 3-pin headers; PWM control is unavailable when connected to a 3-pin socket. ARCTIC also says it is compatible with certain 6-pin server board sockets for dual-motor fans when connected as instructed. Check your case or mounting position accepts a 120 × 120 × 38 mm fan. Good to know: this is a single fan, and PWM speed control requires a compatible header; the mounting screws and impeller sticker are included.
