The ARCTIC S8038-7K is a four-pack of 80 mm server fans for system builders and technicians who need to replace or add cooling in a compact server, industrial system or machine control enclosure. Each fan is 38 mm thick and fits 2U server housings.

With a speed range from 500 to 7000 rpm, each fan can be adjusted to suit the cooling needs of the system. PWM control and voltage control let you tune operation, while the high static pressure helps push air through dense heatsinks and radiator fins. ARCTIC also uses dual ball bearings in a brass housing and actively cools the motor with an additional impeller in the hub, features intended to support continuous operation in demanding environments.

Compatibility

The fans use a 2510 4-pin fan connector and can connect to 2-pin or 3-pin headers for voltage-based speed control. They are suitable for 2U server housings and can also be used for CPU, radiator or system ventilation where the dimensions and connector match. Good to know: a 2-pin or 3-pin header provides voltage control rather than PWM control, and you should check clearance for the 38 mm fan depth before buying.
