The AMD EPYC 9555 is a 64-core, 128-thread server processor from the AMD EPYC 9005 Series, built for the SP5 socket. It suits data centre and enterprise servers running virtualisation, databases, analytics and other heavily threaded workloads.

It has a 3.2GHz base clock, 256MB of L3 cache and a 360W TDP. Twelve channels of DDR5 memory at up to 6400 MT/s and 128 lanes of PCIe 5.0 provide the memory bandwidth and I/O needed for dense server configurations, and AMD Infinity Guard provides a set of security features. This is the tray version, supplied as the processor only.

Compatibility

Requires an SP5 server motherboard that supports EPYC 9005 Series processors. Check the platform's CPU support list. It is supplied without a heatsink, so use a cooler or server chassis rated for its 360W TDP.
