Compatibility

Each fan uses a 4-pin PWM fan plug and socket, plus a 3-pin A-RGB plug and socket. Check that your motherboard or lighting controller has compatible headers; the lighting connector is for 5 V A-RGB. The manual notes that a 3-pin fan socket can connect to a 4-pin plug, but PWM control will not be available. Good to know: check your motherboard header’s current capacity before connecting multiple fans, as the fans share power through the daisy-chain connections.
