The ARCTIC P9 Silent is a 92 mm case fan for PC builders who want to improve airflow in a compact system, or replace a noisy or worn fan. Its size and focused airflow also make it suitable for heat sinks, radiators, pinholes and filters.

It combines a maximum speed of 1900 rpm with static pressure of 1.32 mmH₂O and airflow of up to 23.96 cfm. The fluid dynamic bearing is designed for quiet operation, while the motor is designed to reduce friction and vibration. Fan speed can be adjusted through voltage regulation, giving you a way to balance cooling and noise for your setup.

Key features

• 92 mm fan format for compatible cases and cooling setups
• Focused airflow supports use with heat sinks, radiators and filters
• Static pressure of 1.32 mmH₂O helps maintain airflow against resistance
• Fluid dynamic bearing supports quiet operation
• Speed control through voltage regulation
• Low 0.08 A current draw
• Six-year manufacturer warranty

Compatibility

Check that your case or cooler has a 92 mm fan mounting position and that its mounting depth accommodates a 25 mm thick fan. The fan uses a 3-pin plug and operates at 12 V DC; it can be controlled by adjusting voltage. PWM control from a motherboard will not affect its speed. Good to know: confirm your motherboard or fan controller supports DC voltage control if you need to adjust the fan speed.
