The GIGABYTE B850 AI TOP is an ATX motherboard for AMD Socket AM5 processors, built on the AMD B850 chipset. It suits high-end desktop and workstation-style builds that need fast wired networking, Wi-Fi 7 and plenty of NVMe storage.

Power is handled by a twin 16+2+2 phase digital VRM with 110A smart power stages, cooled by fully covered MOSFET heatsinks. Four DDR5 slots support up to 256GB of memory, with overclocked speeds of up to DDR5 8600. Storage includes three M.2 slots, two of them PCIe 5.0 x4, plus four SATA 6Gb/s ports. Dual 10GbE LAN, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 cover networking.

Compatibility

Fits AMD Socket AM5 processors, including the AMD Ryzen 7000, 8000 and 9000 Series, and uses DDR5 memory only. The ATX (305 x 244 mm) board needs an ATX-compatible case. Good to know: the rear HDMI and DisplayPort outputs work only with a processor that has integrated graphics.
