The Hama 00124022 is an external USB 3.0 multi-card reader for people who need to read or write memory cards on a PC or laptop. It supports SD, microSD and CompactFlash Type I cards, making it suitable for transferring photos and other files from commonly used card formats.

Its USB 3.0 connection supports data transfer rates of up to 5 Gbit/s. UHS-I compatible SD and microSD cards and UDMA capable CF cards can use the reader's supported fast transfer modes. The reader is also backward-compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1, so it can connect to systems with those USB standards, though the connection standard affects the available transfer rate.
