The j5create JCA465-N is a USB-C to dual HDMI adapter for connecting a laptop to two monitors, or to a single 8K display, from one USB-C port. It suits home and office desks where you want to extend a Windows laptop across two screens.

With a host whose graphics support DisplayPort 1.4 with DSC, it drives two 4K displays at 60Hz, or a single display at up to 8K 60Hz or 4K 144Hz. Without DSC, a single display runs at up to 8K 30Hz. The adapter is bus-powered, carries audio over HDMI, needs no driver and also works with Thunderbolt 4 and USB4 devices.

Compatibility

Needs a USB-C port with DisplayPort Alt Mode (DP 1.4, backwards compatible with DP 1.2). The GPU and video source must support DisplayPort 1.4 with DSC for single 8K 60Hz or dual 4K 60Hz. macOS does not support MST, so on a Mac the two displays mirror each other rather than extend.
