The LaCie 8big Pro5 is an eight-bay desktop RAID storage system for creative professionals, video editors and studios working with large project files. Its 256TB capacity gives teams room to store and work with extensive media libraries and high-resolution video projects.

Thunderbolt 5 provides data transfer speeds up to 120Gbps and can deliver up to 140W to a connected laptop over one cable. The system supports hardware RAID configurations, including RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60, as well as JBOD and multi-RAID. Hot-swappable drives support maintenance without shutting down the system, while LaCie RAID Manager helps with setup and drive health monitoring. Three Thunderbolt 5 USB-C ports and a USB 20Gbps port provide options for connecting a host and other devices.
