The PowerColor Reaper Radeon RX 9070 is a 16GB GDDR6 graphics card for PC gamers building or upgrading a high-performance system with AMD’s RDNA 4 architecture. It uses a triple-fan cooler in a two-slot design, with a 289 mm board (304 mm including the bracket).

The card has 3584 stream processors, a game clock of up to 2070MHz and a boost clock of up to 2520MHz, with 16GB of 20Gbps GDDR6 on a 256-bit memory interface. RDNA 4 brings third-generation ray tracing and second-generation AI accelerators, with support for AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 4, HYPR-RX, Radeon Anti-Lag 2, FreeSync and Smart Access Memory. Three ring-blade fans on Japanese dual ball bearings cool a copper base that contacts the GPU directly, with Honeywell PTM7950 phase-change thermal material; the fans start when the GPU reaches 60°C and stop below 50°C.

Compatibility

Installs in a PCIe x16 slot (PCIe 5.0 x16 interface). PowerColor specifies a minimum 650W system power supply with two 8-pin PCIe power connectors. Allow two expansion slots and 304 mm of length including the bracket.
