The Thrustmaster TH8A Shifter Add-On is a metal gear stick for sim racers who want manual gear changes in either an H-pattern or sequential layout. It suits drivers on PC, PlayStation and Xbox who want to add a separate shifter to their racing setup.

Two shift plates are included, so you can switch between a 7+1 H-pattern and sequential (+/-) mode. The 13 cm gear stick, internal mechanism and clamping system are all 100% metal, and the contactless H.E.A.R.T magnetic sensor gives precision that will not decrease over time. Shifting resistance and gear-shift travel are adjustable, the shift plate and clamp can be positioned and rotated through 360°, and the detachable knob can be swapped for a real universal knob.

Compatibility

On PC it connects by USB and works with all racing wheels. On consoles, including PS5, PS4 and Xbox, it connects through the DIN cable to a compatible Thrustmaster racing wheel base. Good to know: for console use, check that your Thrustmaster wheel base supports the TH8A.
