The TP-Link Deco X50-Outdoor is an outdoor and indoor mesh Wi-Fi 6 unit for extending a Deco network into a garden, patio or other area with weak wireless coverage. It suits households that need a more reliable connection outdoors, as well as small outdoor spaces such as cafés.

Dual-band Wi-Fi 6 delivers combined speeds of up to 3000 Mbps, with up to 2402 Mbps on 5 GHz and 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz. Its IP65-rated enclosure is designed to resist dust and water, while pole, wall and tabletop mounting options give you flexibility when positioning the unit. Power can be supplied over Ethernet or from AC mains, and the two Gigabit ports support wired connections.

• AC power is also supported for alternative placement.
• Two Gigabit WAN/LAN ports provide high-speed wired connectivity.

Compatibility

Works with other TP-Link Deco models as part of a mesh network and is managed through the Deco app. Power input supports IEEE 802.3at PoE or 100–240V AC. Good to know: this is a single outdoor Deco unit, so it does not replace the modem or router needed for an internet connection.
