The Ubiquiti UniFi Network Video Recorder Pro is a rack-mounted recorder for organisations and installers building a UniFi Protect camera system. It brings camera recordings together in a local console that can be managed through the UniFi Protect application, with remote access available through the Protect mobile app and unifi.ui.com.

Seven drive bays give the UNVR-Pro room for substantial video storage, while RAID options add protection for recorded footage. It supports up to 24 4K or 70 Full HD cameras, and Ubiquiti states that it can provide up to 60 days of storage for those camera loads. A 1.3-inch touchscreen provides concise status and video event previews, and Bluetooth helps with setup through the Protect app.

Compatibility

Designed for UniFi Protect deployments, this console is managed using the Protect application and supports UniFi Protect cameras. It fits a 2U rack space and can also be connected to a network using its SFP+ or RJ45 interface. Good to know: hard drives are not included, so storage capacity and redundancy depend on the drives installed; the USP-RPS backup unit is also sold separately.
