The Zebra DS2208-SR is a corded handheld 1D/2D barcode scanner, supplied here as a USB kit with a stand. It suits shops, tills, warehouses and offices that need to read both traditional linear barcodes and 2D codes such as QR codes.

Omnidirectional scanning means the barcode does not need to be lined up with the scanner, and an aim line guides users to the right scanning distance. The scanner is pre-configured to work out of the box, and Zebra's auto-host-detect cables identify the connected interface automatically.

Compatibility

This kit connects to a PC or POS terminal over USB. The scanner also supports RS-232, RS-485 and keyboard wedge interfaces when used with the matching Zebra cable, which is not part of this USB kit.
