The ARCTIC Alpine 23 is a compact air cooler for desktop PCs using an AMD AM4 or AM5 processor. Its low profile suits builders looking for a straightforward replacement or a space-conscious cooling option for a compatible system.

A radial aluminium heatsink with 50 Y-shaped fins provides a compact cooling surface. The 90 mm fan uses PWM control across a 100–2000 rpm range, so its speed can adjust to cooling demand. ARCTIC also uses a Fluid Dynamic Bearing and a motor designed to reduce power use and vibration. MX-4 thermal compound is pre-applied to make installation cleaner and quicker.

Key features

• Compact radial heatsink designed for AMD desktop processors.
• 50 Y-shaped aluminium fins increase the heatsink's surface area.
• PWM fan control adjusts speed between 100 and 2000 rpm.
• Fluid Dynamic Bearing helps reduce friction and fan noise.
• Pre-applied MX-4 thermal compound simplifies fitting.
• Mounting clips attach to existing AMD retention modules.
• Compatible with both AM4 and AM5 sockets.

Compatibility

This cooler is for AMD AM4 and AM5 sockets and connects using a 4-pin fan connector. Its installation height is 65 mm, so check the space available in your case before buying. The cooler fits to the existing AMD retention modules. Good to know: confirm your motherboard uses AM4 or AM5 and that your case has enough clearance; this model is not specified for Intel sockets.
