The ARCTIC Freezer 36-S A-RGB is a single-tower air cooler for builders upgrading a desktop PC or assembling a system for gaming and demanding everyday work. It supports recent Intel and AMD desktop platforms, with a black heatsink and addressable RGB lighting for builds where appearance matters alongside processor cooling.

Four copper heatpipes make direct contact with the CPU, transferring heat to the aluminium fin stack. The included P12 Pro A-RGB fan uses PWM control and runs from 600 to 3000 rpm, with a Fluid Dynamic Bearing. Its addressable lighting has 12 LEDs, while the fan can stop below 5% PWM for quiet operation at low loads. A contact frame helps distribute mounting pressure, and tool-free wire clips secure the fan to the cooler.

Compatibility

Compatible sockets are Intel LGA1851 and LGA1700, plus AMD AM5 and AM4. The fan uses a 4-pin PWM connector; lighting uses a 3-pin 5 V A-RGB connector. Good to know: check that your motherboard has a compatible 5 V A-RGB header before relying on motherboard-controlled lighting.
