It suits builders upgrading a compatible Intel or AMD system who want effective CPU cooling with addressable RGB lighting.

Its P12 Pro fan combines high static pressure with PWM speed control, while four copper heatpipes make direct contact with the processor’s heat spreader. The included contact frame is designed to spread mounting pressure evenly, helping maintain good thermal contact. The cooler supports current Intel LGA1851 and LGA1700 sockets, as well as AMD AM5 and AM4.

Key features

Four direct-touch copper heatpipes transfer heat from the CPU to the aluminium fin stack.

The 120 mm P12 Pro A-RGB fan runs from 600 to 3000 rpm under PWM control.

The fan can stop below 5% PWM for zero-rpm operation at low control settings.

Fluid dynamic bearing supports smooth fan operation.

The contact frame applies even mounting pressure and helps prevent CPU bending.

Wire clips hold the fan securely and allow tool-free installation or removal.

Twelve A-RGB LEDs provide lighting that can be synchronised through a compatible motherboard connection.

Compatibility

Compatible sockets are Intel LGA1851 and LGA1700, and AMD AM5 and AM4. The cooler’s fan uses a 4-pin PWM connector; its lighting uses a 3-pin 5 V A-RGB connector. Check that your motherboard has the required headers and sufficient cooler clearance before buying. Good to know: the A-RGB lighting connector is 5 V and should not be connected to a 12 V RGB header.

In the box

ARCTIC Freezer 36-S A-RGB

Specifications

Specification

Detail

Product type

Tower CPU air cooler

Part number

ACFRE00199A

EAN

4895265001017

Colour

White

Compatibility

Intel LGA1851, LGA1700; AMD AM5, AM4

Fan speed

600–3000 rpm

Fan bearing

Fluid Dynamic Bearing

Heatpipes

4 x Ø 6 mm copper, direct touch

Dimensions

126 (L) x 88 (W) x 156 (H) mm

Weight

685 g

Warranty

6 Years

For a build that needs capable air cooling, broad current socket support and synchronised lighting, the Freezer 36-S A-RGB brings those functions together in a compact single-tower cooler.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0894/4120/6619/files/arctic-freezer-36-s-a-rgb-cpu-air-cooler-white.jpg?v=1792268574
