The ARCTIC Freezer 8i is a compact air cooler for Intel desktop builds using an LGA1851 or LGA1700 processor. It suits PC builders putting together a space-conscious system or replacing a stock cooler with a model that has a dedicated heat sink and speed-controlled fan.

Two copper direct-touch heat pipes carry heat from the processor into the aluminium fin stack. The included P10 PWM fan adjusts its speed between 200 and 2300 rpm to suit changing cooling demands, and can stop below 5% PWM. A fluid dynamic bearing supports quiet operation, while MX-6 thermal compound is pre-applied to simplify installation. Its Intel Contact Frame is designed to distribute contact pressure across the processor, and the offset heat pipes help spread heat through the fins.

Designed for Intel LGA1851 and LGA1700 systems. The cooler measures 83 (L) x 108 (W) x 136 (H) mm, so check your case clearance before buying. Good to know: mounting material is supplied for Intel systems only, so this cooler is not suitable for AMD sockets.
