Compatibility

Connect the fan to a compatible 4-pin PWM fan header. Its 3-pin socket can accept a 4-pin fan plug, but PWM control will not be available through that connection. Check that the case or radiator supports a 140 mm fan and that the fan header can supply enough power for any daisy-chained fans. Good to know: the package includes four mounting screws; a motherboard fan header or separate fan controller is not included.
