The ARCTIC P9 PWM PST is a 92 mm case fan for PC builders who need to add or replace a fan in a compact system. Its PWM control and cable splitter make it suitable for builds where fan speed needs to respond to cooling demand, including setups using a heatsink or radiator.

It combines a speed range of 200–3000 rpm with a focused airflow designed to work against resistance from heatsinks, radiators and filters. PWM control lets a compatible motherboard adjust the fan speed, and the fan can stop below 5% PWM for silent operation at idle. ARCTIC’s Hydrodynamic Bearing supports the fan’s operation, while the PST connection lets you connect another PWM fan to the same control signal.

Compatibility

Connect the fan’s 4-pin plug to a compatible motherboard fan header for PWM speed control. The 4-pin socket provides the PST connection for another fan. A 3-pin socket is compatible with the 4-pin plug, but PWM control will not be available. Check that your case or cooling hardware has a 92 mm fan mounting position and that the fan fits the available 25 mm thickness.

Good to know: The fan requires a suitable 12 V DC fan connection, and PWM speed control depends on using a compatible motherboard header.
