The Hama 00201523 is a compact audio adapter for people who want to use wired headphones, a headset or a speaker with an Apple device that has a Lightning socket. It suits everyday listening at home, in the car or while travelling, and provides a way to connect standard 3.5 mm audio equipment.

The adapter has a Lightning plug and a 3.5 mm jack socket, with a short, ultra-thin flexible cable. Its fabric jacket adds protection against kinks, while the connector housing is made from aluminium. MFi certification and a built-in stereo sound card support audio connection from Lightning devices, converting digital audio to analogue. The adapter also supports microphone use and headphone controls such as volume and track selection.
