The Hama 00205037 is a satellite connection cable for linking a satellite receiver to a satellite wall socket. It suits anyone setting up a satellite TV connection at home and needing a short cable between the receiver and the socket.

Both ends use F plugs, so the cable is made for equipment and sockets with matching F connections. Its 1.5 m length is suited to a nearby receiver position, while the double shielding is designed to reduce electromagnetic interference. Hama specifies a 75 dB shielding rating and 75 Ω impedance for the coaxial cable.

Key features

• Connects a satellite receiver to a satellite socket.
• F plug connectors at both ends for compatible F sockets.
• 1.5 m length for a short connection run.
• Coaxial construction for satellite signal connections.
• Double shielding combines braid and aluminium foil.
• 75 dB shielding rating to help reduce electromagnetic interference.
• 75 Ω impedance.

Compatibility

Use this cable where both the receiver and satellite socket have F-type connections. Check the connector type at each end before buying; it is not a coax plug to coax socket lead. The cable connects the receiver and socket, while the satellite receiver and satellite installation are separate equipment. Good to know: this cable has F plugs at both ends, so it will not directly fit a coaxial aerial socket without a suitable adapter.

Specifications

For a straightforward satellite connection in a room where the receiver sits close to the wall socket, this Hama lead provides the specified length and shielding in a simple coaxial cable. Confirm the F connections and available cable route first to ensure its 1.5 m reach is suitable.
