The Hama Dual Charger is a compact mains USB charger for people who want to charge a phone, tablet, MP3 player or another USB device without connecting it to a computer. Its two USB-A ports make it useful at home, in an office or in a travel bag when two devices need charging from one wall socket.

Both ports can be used at the same time, with a maximum combined output of 2.4A. The charger provides up to 12W and accepts a 100–240V mains supply, so it can also be used abroad with a country-specific plug adapter. The integrated UK Type G plug is ready for compatible UK sockets, and the small body measures 5.2 x 3.9 x 5.2 cm.

Key features

• Charge two USB devices at once from a single mains socket.
• Up to 2.4A output shared across the two ports.
• 12W maximum output for everyday USB charging.
• Two USB Type-A sockets for compatible charging cables.
• 100–240V input supports use with suitable country-specific plug adapters.
• UK Type G plug suits compatible mains sockets.
• Compact dimensions make it easy to pack for travel.

Compatibility

Suitable for charging USB devices such as smartphones, tablets and MP3 players. It has two USB Type-A output ports and requires a USB charging cable suited to the device; charging cables are not listed as included. The 2.4A maximum is shared between both ports, so available current is divided when two devices are connected. Good to know: the UK plug is not a universal plug, and use outside the UK requires a country-specific adapter.
