The Hama Payment Wristband adds contactless payment to a compatible watch or smartwatch. It suits people who want to pay for everyday purchases from the wrist while keeping the watch they already wear, including those whose smartwatch does not have its own payment function.

Pair the strap with the Fidesmo app and add a compatible debit or credit card to Fidesmo Pay. Once set up, you can make a payment by holding the wristband near a contactless card reader, without taking out your phone or card. Its passive NFC chip activates close to the reader, and it uses an encrypted token derived from the linked card details. Visa and Mastercard certification supports a secure payment setup, while Fidesmo supports cards from more than 800 banks worldwide.

Compatibility

Check that your watch has a 22 mm lug width before ordering; measure between the lugs where the strap attaches. The Fidesmo app and an NFC-enabled smartphone are needed for initial setup, and your bank card must be supported by Fidesmo. Good to know: the wristband does not make an incompatible watch strap fitting fit, and bank support can vary, so check your card with Fidesmo before purchase.
