The LG GP60NS60 is a slim external DVD writer for laptop and desktop users who need to read or record discs on a computer without a built-in optical drive. Its portable design also suits anyone who wants a drive for occasional backups, software installation or watching DVDs.

Connect it over USB 2.0 to access a broad range of CD and DVD formats, including DVD-RAM and M-DISC. It reads DVDs at up to 8x and CDs at up to 24x, with writing speeds of up to 8x for DVD-R and DVD+RW and 24x for CD-R and CD-RW. The tray-loading mechanism keeps disc loading familiar, while the slim silver casing is easy to store with a laptop.
