The LINDY 30446 is a 1 m mains power cable for connecting equipment with an IEC C13 inlet to a UK mains socket. It suits people replacing a short or worn power lead for compatible computers, monitors and other equipment with a C13 connection.

One end has a UK 3 pin plug and the other a right angled IEC C13 connector. The angled connector can be useful where the equipment sits close to a wall or other obstruction. The cable is fully moulded and includes a 5A fuse in the UK plug. Its black finish keeps the lead understated alongside other power cables.

Compatibility

Use this cable with equipment that has a standard IEC C14 inlet for its power connection. The equipment itself is not included. Although IEC C13 leads are sometimes casually called kettle leads, this cable is not suitable for kettles: kettles require the higher temperature rated IEC C15/C16 connection, which has a cut-out on the connector.

Good to know: Check the equipment inlet before ordering; an IEC C13 connector will not fit a kettle’s IEC C15 inlet.
