This 1 metre USB-C to VGA cable connects a USB-C device to a VGA display. It suits people who need to show a laptop or other compatible device on a VGA monitor or projector, such as in a meeting room, classroom or home office.

The cable converts video carried over DisplayPort Alternate Mode to a VGA signal, so you can connect to a display with a VGA input without adding a separate power supply. Its reversible USB-C plug is designed to connect either way up. It supports resolutions up to 1080p at 60Hz, making it suitable for Full HD presentations and everyday display use. The one metre length gives some flexibility when positioning connected devices while keeping the connection direct.

Compatibility

Connect a USB-C device that supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode to a display with a VGA input. Check your device's specifications for DP Alt Mode support before buying; a USB-C port alone does not confirm video output capability. The cable provides VGA output and does not add HDMI or other display connections. Good to know: the USB-C source must support DisplayPort Alternate Mode for the cable to carry video.
