The TP-Link Omada EAP773 is a tri-band Wi-Fi 7 access point for businesses upgrading wireless coverage in offices, schools, hotels or retail spaces. Its ceiling or wall mounting options suit fixed installations, while Omada management tools help network teams oversee access points across a site.

Three wireless bands provide combined headline rates of up to 9,214 Mbps: 5,760 Mbps on 6 GHz, 2,880 Mbps on 5 GHz and 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz. Wi-Fi 7 features including 320 MHz channels on 6 GHz, Multi-Link Operation and Multi-RUs are designed to increase capacity and reduce latency when connected clients support those features. A 10G Ethernet port supports high-speed wired backhaul, and the access point can be managed locally or through Omada’s controller platform.

Compatibility

Wi-Fi 7 and its related features require compatible client devices. For centralised management, mesh, AI roaming, captive portal and cloud access, an Omada SDN controller is required. The EAP773 supports 802.3bt PoE and TP-Link specifies 802.3at PoE or 12V/2.5A DC power; the power adapter is not included. Good to know: check that your PoE equipment supplies a supported standard and that your clients support the Wi-Fi 7 features you intend to use.
