The TP-Link Omada ES220GMP is a 20-port Gigabit easy managed switch for small businesses, offices and surveillance networks. It suits users who need to connect multiple wired devices and power compatible access points, IP cameras or phones over Ethernet.

Sixteen RJ45 ports support 802.3af/at PoE, with up to 30 W available per port and a shared 250 W PoE budget. Two additional Gigabit RJ45 ports and two Gigabit SFP slots provide options for network links and fibre connections. Plug-and-play operation gets devices connected quickly, while VLAN, IGMP Snooping, QoS and automatic loop prevention give you tools to organise and manage traffic. The metal casing is designed for rack mounting.

Compatibility

The PoE ports support IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at devices. SFP modules and connected network devices are not included. Centralised Omada management and app features require an Omada hardware, software or cloud-based controller; the switch also supports standalone operation. Good to know: when using the extended PoE transmission feature, the speed of those ports drops to 10 Mbps and the actual distance depends on cable quality.
