The TP-Link Omada POE10R is a PoE splitter for adding power and a network connection to a non-PoE access point, IP camera or IP phone. It suits home and small business network installs where the device needs to be positioned away from a mains socket.

Connect it to an IEEE 802.3af PoE source and the POE10R separates the incoming power and data. Its switchable DC output lets you select 5V, 9V or 12V to suit the connected device, while the Ethernet connection supports Gigabit speeds. With plug-and-play installation, it needs no configuration, and power can be delivered over a cable run of up to 100 metres. Built-in short circuit protection and automatic disconnection for over-voltage, under-voltage or over-current help protect the connected equipment.

Compatibility

Use with an IEEE 802.3af compliant PoE switch or injector, and check that the connected device accepts the selected DC voltage and current. The splitter has a PoE input RJ45 port, a LAN output RJ45 port and a DC power output socket. Good to know: a PoE source and any Ethernet cables needed for the installation are separate, and the splitter's selected voltage and DC connector must match the powered device.
