The TP-Link Omada POE260R is a PoE+ splitter for adding power and network access to a non-PoE device over an Ethernet connection. It suits network installers and small business users connecting equipment such as an access point, camera or IP phone where a separate power adapter is inconvenient.

It takes PoE+ power and data through its RJ45 input, then passes data through a second RJ45 port while providing a selectable 5V, 9V or 12V DC output. The two Ethernet ports support speeds up to 2.5Gbps, so the splitter can be used in multi-gigabit networks as well as standard Ethernet setups. Plug-and-play operation means no configuration is required.

Compatibility

Connect the POWER+DATA IN port to a PoE switch or injector that supports IEEE 802.3af/at, and connect the non-PoE device to LAN OUT and DC OUT. The connected device must match the selected voltage and stay within the splitter's supported power output. Good to know: a PoE switch or injector and the Ethernet cables are required for use and are not included with the splitter.
