The Ubiquiti airCube AC is a compact home Wi-Fi access point for people who want to extend wireless access around the house, or provide a connection point for airMAX CPE equipment. It also suits a small home office where several wired devices need Gigabit Ethernet.

Dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi operates on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, with integrated antennas designed to provide wide-area coverage. Four Gigabit Ethernet ports give you wired connections for compatible network devices. Its 24V PoE passthrough can power a compatible airMAX CPE, while the access point itself can be powered by 24V PoE or its included power supply. The compact design makes it easy to position in a room where it can serve nearby devices.

Key features

• Dual-band 802.11ac 2x2 Wi-Fi for wireless access on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz.
• Four Gigabit Ethernet ports for wired network connections.
• Integrated antennas with 4 dBi gain at 2.4 GHz and 5 dBi at 5 GHz.
• 24V PoE passthrough can supply power to a compatible airMAX CPE.
• Can be powered by 24V PoE or by the included 24V power supply.
• UNMS Mobile app support for installation and configuration on iOS and Android.
• Remote management support through Ubiquiti's UISP platform.

Compatibility

Designed to interoperate with airMAX CPEs, and connects to Ethernet devices through its four RJ45 Gigabit ports. It supports 24V passive PoE; check the power method and voltage required by your existing equipment before connecting it. The supplied power adapter has an EU plug, so a UK mains adapter may be required. Good to know: the 24V PoE passthrough is intended for compatible 24V equipment and should not be treated as standard 802.3af/at PoE.
