The Ubiquiti airMAX Lite AP LAP-120 is an outdoor 5 GHz access point for wireless network operators and installers building point-to-multipoint links. Its sector antenna is designed to serve multiple compatible airMAX AC client devices across a 120° coverage area.

With 2x2 MIMO and stated throughput of 450+ Mbps, the LAP-120 combines its radio and antenna in a lightweight unit. The integrated design and ball-joint mount support flexible positioning, while three-axis alignment helps installers aim the unit. A single Gigabit Ethernet port carries network traffic, and airMAX AC mode provides the wireless protocol used with compatible airMAX AC equipment.

Compatibility

The LAP-120 is an access point for airMAX AC wireless links; client devices need to support compatible airMAX AC operation. It has one Gigabit Ethernet port and uses passive PoE over two pairs. The included 24V, 0.5A Gigabit PoE adapter supplies power. The Ubiquiti management app requires the separate U-Installer for this model. Good to know: passive PoE is not the same as standard 802.3af/at PoE, so check the power method before connecting it to other network equipment.
