Its sector antenna is designed to serve multiple compatible airMAX AC client devices across a 120° coverage area.

With 2x2 MIMO and stated throughput of 450+ Mbps, the LAP-120 combines its radio and antenna in a lightweight unit. The integrated design and ball-joint mount support flexible positioning, while three-axis alignment helps installers aim the unit. A single Gigabit Ethernet port carries network traffic, and airMAX AC mode provides the wireless protocol used with compatible airMAX AC equipment.

Key features

120° sector coverage for serving multiple compatible client devices

2x2 MIMO wireless operation

5 GHz frequency band

450+ Mbps stated throughput

Integrated antenna and radio in a lightweight enclosure

Ball-joint mount allows adjustment for installation

Gigabit Ethernet connection for wired networking

airMAX AC mode and airOS configuration features

Compatibility

The LAP-120 is an access point for airMAX AC wireless links; client devices need to support compatible airMAX AC operation. It has one Gigabit Ethernet port and uses passive PoE over two pairs. The included 24V, 0.5A Gigabit PoE adapter supplies power. The Ubiquiti management app requires the separate U-Installer for this model. Good to know: passive PoE is not the same as standard 802.3af/at PoE, so check the power method before connecting it to other network equipment.

In the box

Ubiquiti airMAX Lite AP LAP-120

Ball Joint Mount

Metal Strap

Gigabit PoE (24V, 0.5A) with Mounting Bracket

Power Cord

Quick Start Guide

Specifications

Specification

Detail

Product type

Outdoor 5 GHz airMAX AC access point

Part number

LAP-120

Wireless frequency

5 GHz

Antenna gain

16 dBi

Coverage angle

120°

MIMO

2x2

Throughput

450+ Mbps

Networking interface

(1) GbE RJ45 port

Power method

Passive PoE 2-pair (4, 5+; 7, 8 return)

Power supply

24V, 0.5A gigabit PoE adapter (Included)

Maximum power consumption

8W

Dimensions

452.3 x 78.7 x 54.4 mm

Weight

420 g

For outdoor point-to-multipoint deployments, the LAP-120 brings sector coverage, integrated radio hardware and Gigabit Ethernet together in a unit that can be aligned for the installation.
