It supplies power and network data over Ethernet, making it useful where the connected device needs a separate injector rather than a PoE switch.

With a 24V DC output rated at 1.0A, this model delivers up to 24W. It has two RJ45 connections and supports 10/100 Ethernet. Ubiquiti specifies protection features including surge and clamping protection; when used with grounded TOUGHCable and its connectors, the setup can also help provide an earth path and protect against electrostatic discharge events.

Key features

Injects power onto an Ethernet connection for a compatible 24V device.

Provides 24V DC at 1.0A, with 24W output power.

Uses two RJ45 connections for the network and powered device connections.

Supports 10/100 Fast Ethernet.

Includes surge and clamping protection features.

Supports remote reset capability and has a reset button.

Can be paired with grounded Ubiquiti TOUGHCable and connectors to help drain ESD.

Compatibility

Use it only with equipment that accepts 24V passive PoE at the required power level. Check the device specifications and Ethernet pin requirements before connecting; this injector supplies fixed 24V DC and is not a substitute for an IEEE 802.3af/at injector. It has a 10/100 LAN port, so it is not intended to provide Gigabit Ethernet. Good to know: TOUGHCable and its connectors are separate items, and the grounding benefit depends on using a properly grounded cable path.

In the box

Ubiquiti POE-24-24W-WH

Specifications

Specification

Detail

Product type

PoE injector

Part number

POE-24-24W-WH

PoE output

24VDC @ 1.0A

Output power

24 W

Connections

2 x RJ45

Ethernet

10/100 Fast Ethernet

Dimensions

88 x 57 x 33 mm

Colour

White

This is a straightforward replacement or spare for supported 24V PoE equipment, combining a 24W output with protection features in a compact injector.
