It suits office computers, everyday home systems and low-power builds that need a straightforward replacement PSU, particularly systems that do not need a dedicated graphics card power connection.

It supplies 300 W and uses a 12 cm fan for active cooling. Its fixed cables provide a 24-pin ATX motherboard connection, six SATA power connectors and three PATA power connectors, giving compatible systems options for powering storage and other components. Passive power factor correction and a single +12V rail rated at 20 A are specified for this model.

Key features

ATX form factor for compatible desktop cases

300 W total power output

24-pin ATX motherboard power connector

Six SATA power connectors for compatible drives

Three PATA power connectors for compatible components

Active cooling with a top-mounted 12 cm fan

Single +12V rail with a maximum output current of 20 A

Built-in on/off switch

Compatibility

Check that your case supports an ATX PSU and that your motherboard and components use compatible power connectors. This model has no PCI Express power connector, so it is not suited to graphics cards that require a separate PCIe power lead. It also includes a floppy disk drive power connector for compatible older devices. Good to know: the PSU is fully wired, and its cables are fixed to the unit, so check their connectors and reach against your system before buying.

In the box

VIDA Lite 300W

Specifications

Specification

Detail

Product type

ATX power supply

Part number

AA-300-YY

Total power

300 W

PSU form factor

ATX

ATX version

1.3

Power Factor Correction (PFC) type

Passive

Cooling type

Active

Fan diameter

12 cm

Motherboard power connector

24-pin ATX

Number of SATA power connectors

6

Number of PATA power connectors

3

PCI Express connector

No

Number of +12V rail(s)

1

Max output current (+12V)

20 A

Product colour

Black

Dimensions

150 mm × 140 mm × 85 mm

Weight

1.17 kg

For a basic desktop replacement or modest ATX build, the VIDA Lite 300W provides common motherboard and drive power connections with active fan cooling.
